Outcomes and scenarios
What each role status means and how it affects the three scenarios.
Outcomes
| Offer accepted | Agency records show an accepted offer. The fee stays in every scenario. |
|---|---|
| Client confirmed pause | The client said the role is paused. The fee date moves to the end of the pause, so the fee leaves Reviewed and Downside if that pushes payment past the period, or if no restart date is given. |
| Placed elsewhere | The role was filled by someone else. The fee leaves Reviewed and Downside. |
| Needs confirming | The evidence can't settle it. The fee stays in Reviewed and is left out of Downside; a question is created. |
Freshness
A client confirmation older than 10 days before the cash date needs reconfirming. Its age alone never counts as a pause.
Forecast maths
Expected fee for a role = agreed fee × the agency's placement chance. It counts as a receipt only if the payment date (expected fee date + payment terms) falls in the forecast period. Closing cash = opening cash + collectible receivables + counted receipts − recruiter pay − other expenses.
